Mission & Goals

CSDR participates in the negotiation of collective labour agreements at sectoral or branch level, in order to ensure appropriate working conditions and fair income for its members. We actively participate in tripartite social dialogue (trade unions–employers–government). We have over 120 representatives in social dialogue structures at national and county level, who actively take part in meetings with the aim of supporting and protecting our members. We actively contribute to the development of labour legislation, as well as social and economic policies. We advocate for the respect of workers’ rights, such as non-discrimination, work–life balance, and improving living standards. We provide support in labour disputes, professional training, and legal advice. We coordinate joint actions such as picketing, protests, and rallies, and strengthen unity among our members.efends and promotes workers’ rights.
