Mission & Goals

The primary purpose of the AAPA is to serve as a common forum for the articulation of members’ views on matters and issues of common interest, to foster close co-operation and to bring about an atmosphere conducive to the stimulation of the travel and tourism industry. It also serves to enhance the role of major airlines as instruments for international co-operation and growth in the economic, social and cultural fields. The AAPA plays a leadership role and speaks with a common voice on behalf of the Asia-Pacific carriers when dealing with governments, aircraft manufacturers, airport authorities and other organizations affecting the performance of the aviation industry as a whole.
