Mission & Goals

EU Legislative Interests
To date, the company has engaged with EU officials around the Artificial Intelligence Act, and the future digital economy, both at the request of certain members of the European Commission and European Parliament from an advisory standpoint, and proactively. This includes the GPAI Code of Conduct which Anthropic signed, and relevant revisions to the AI Act, and the AI Act Omnibus.
Communication Activities
Our staff speak on relevant panels at events across the European Union. We have engaged with policymakers on our Economic Index and regularly publish research and commentary on our blog, for example this blog piece explaining why we signed the GPAI Code of Conduct: https://www.anthropic.com/news/eu-code-practice (other blog posts available on this site).
