The short-stay visa waiver

This procedure concerns the formalisation of an agreement between the EU and the Republic of the Marshall Islands to allow visa-free travel for short stays. It aims to facilitate tourism and business exchanges, strengthening bilateral relations.

Citizens of the Marshall Islands and EU Member States will benefit from visa-free travel for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This impacts border control policies and people-to-people contacts.
