This agreement updates the rules for determining the origin of goods traded between the EU and Norway. It ensures that materials originating from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, or Turkey can be counted towards the origin of a product when exported to any of these countries under the EU's Generalised System of Preferences.

This change aims to simplify trade and support businesses by allowing for more flexible sourcing of materials. It affects companies exporting goods under the GSP scheme to Norway, the EU, Switzerland, or Turkey.
