EU-Ukraine: Temporary trade liberalisation
This procedure aims to temporarily remove or reduce tariffs and trade barriers on goods imported from Ukraine into the EU. By expanding the trade concessions already present in the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, the EU seeks to support the Ukrainian economy during a period of crisis and instability.
This change primarily affects Ukrainian exporters and EU importers. It allows more Ukrainian products to enter the EU market duty-free, facilitating trade and providing economic relief to Ukrainian businesses.
