Sustainable management of external fishing fleets

This procedure aims to ensure that fishing activities carried out by vessels flying the flag of a third country in waters under the jurisdiction of the EU, or in areas where international fishing conservation and management measures apply, are sustainable. It seeks to prevent, deter, and eliminate illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
