Readmission

This procedure concerns an agreement between the European Union and Moldova on readmission. It aims to facilitate the return of individuals who do not meet or no longer meet the conditions for entry, stay, or residence in the EU or Moldova.

This agreement affects citizens of the EU and Moldova, as well as third-country nationals residing in either territory. It strengthens cooperation on migration management and border security between the parties.
