Amendment: Ship inspection organisations (Directive 94/57/EC)
This procedure aims to update the rules governing the organisations that carry out ship inspections on behalf of member states. By refining the requirements for these bodies, the EU seeks to ensure higher safety standards and more consistent enforcement of maritime regulations across all European waters.
