Financial discipline (2021) and Regulation 1307/2013 flexibility (2020)
This procedure updates the rules for financial discipline in the EU's common agricultural policy starting from 2021. It also allows for temporary flexibility in how funds are moved between different funding 'pillars' for the 2020 calendar year to ensure agricultural support remains stable.
This affects EU farmers and agricultural producers by adjusting how subsidies and premiums are distributed and managed across member states.
