Repeal of Regulation (EU) 526/2013 on ENISA, the "EU Cybersecurity Agency"
This regulation strengthens the European Union's capacity to tackle cybersecurity threats. It expands the mandate of the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and creates a new European cybersecurity certification framework for digital products, services, and processes to ensure a high level of security across the single market.
This affects providers of ICT products and services, as well as national authorities. It introduces standardized security certifications that help businesses demonstrate their security levels to customers.
