Amendment to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products

This regulation updates the list of substances that are banned for use in cosmetic products. By amending Annex V of the existing cosmetics regulation, the EU ensures that products on the market remain safe for consumers by prohibiting ingredients that are found to be harmful to human health.
