Amendment to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 on certain fresh fruit and cassavas and of lecithins (E 322) and fatty acids (E 570) as carriers in glazing agents on cassavas

This regulation updates rules on the use of specific food additives, namely mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (E 471), carnauba wax (E 903), lecithins (E 322), and fatty acids (E 570). These are used as glazing agents or carriers in glazing agents.

The changes specifically concern their application on certain fresh fruits and cassavas. The aim is to ensure food safety and clarity regarding permitted ingredients in food production.
