Amendment: Regulation 228/2013 (Disaster aid for outermost regions & Mayotte)

This procedure aims to update existing rules to provide more financial aid and flexibility to EU outermost regions hit by severe natural disasters. It specifically addresses the urgent need for support following the devastation caused by cyclone Chido in Mayotte.

The changes will benefit local authorities and citizens in outermost regions, allowing for faster access to EU solidarity funds to rebuild infrastructure and recover from environmental catastrophes.
