EMA fees and charges: amending Reg 2017/745 & repealing Reg 297/95, 658/2014
This procedure updates the fees and charges that companies pay to the European Medicines Agency (EMA). It aims to ensure the EMA has sufficient funding to carry out its essential work in evaluating and supervising medicines.
The changes affect pharmaceutical companies and other stakeholders interacting with the EMA. It repeals older regulations and aligns with the updated medical devices regulation.
