Amendment: Converting Farm Accountancy Data Network to Farm Sustainability Data Network
This procedure aims to transform the existing Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) into a Farm Sustainability Data Network. The goal is to shift the focus from purely financial accounting to a broader system that tracks the environmental and social sustainability of farms across the EU.
This change affects farmers and agricultural administrations. It will introduce new data collection requirements to better monitor how farming practices impact the climate and biodiversity.
