Directive on a single European railway area, as regards the opening of the market for domestic passenger transport services by rail and the governance of the railway infrastructure
This procedure aims to amend existing EU rules to fully open the market for domestic passenger rail transport services. It seeks to enhance competition and improve services for passengers across the EU.
The changes will affect rail transport operators, infrastructure managers, and passengers. It also addresses the governance of railway infrastructure to ensure fair access and efficient management.
