This initiative proposes to give the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) the power to investigate and prosecute cross-border terrorist crimes. This aims to strengthen the EU's ability to fight terrorism by ensuring more effective and coordinated investigations across member states.

This change would affect individuals suspected of terrorist offenses with a cross-border dimension and enhance the EPPO's role in upholding security and justice within the EU.
