Mission & Goals

Zwijndrecht Gezond is a citizens’ collective founded in June 2021, shortly after PFAS pollution around the 3M site in Zwijndrecht became public. Our living environment and our children’s health are at serious risk, which drove us to unite out of concern and indignation. Since then, we have worked to ensure the PFAS issue is thoroughly analyzed and tackled decisively, with health and environment at the heart of all decisions. We build bridges between citizens, experts, policymakers, and companies, convinced that only constructive dialogue and knowledge-sharing can lead to real solutions and recovery. Our strength lies in being well-informed, thinking critically, and working together for a healthy, livable Zwijndrecht.
