Mission & Goals
ZPS - Slovene Consumers’ Association is an independent and autonomous non-governmental organization dedicated to protection and representation of consumer interest as well as to providing impartial advice and education to consumers. We are actively striving for an improvement of quality and safety of products and services, in cooperation with nongovernmental and expert organizations in Slovenia, in the EU and globally. ZPS warns about deficiencies that impair harm to consumers and demands appropriate systemic changes, while advocating institutional involvement of consumer associations in the policy making process, especially in the fields of public utilities, health and financial services, sustainable development and sustainable consumption. We are actively involved in consumer policy making at national, European and global level.
