Mission & Goals
Zoltek Zrt. is a Hungary‑based manufacturer of industrial‑grade carbon fibres, oxidised fibre, precursor fibre and related composite materials, and a member of the Toray Group. We aim to lead the commercialisation of carbon fibre as a primary composite building material by supplying cost‑efficient, high‑performance carbon fibre products for wind energy, automotive, construction, infrastructure and other industrial applications in the EU and globally. Through our large‑scale production facility in Nyergesújfalu, Hungary, we contribute to lightweight, energy‑efficient and low‑carbon solutions that support broader climate and industrial objectives.
EU Legislative Interests
Net‑Zero Industry Act; Critical Raw Materials Act; EU Emissions Trading System and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism; Renewable Energy Directive; REACH Regulation on chemicals; CLP Regulation on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. Regulate carbon fibre import into the EU from third countries conducting business practices not complying with EU business ethics regulations.
