Mission & Goals

Our clinic, led by Academician and Dr. Zan Mitrev, laid the foundations of modern medical services in cardiovascular surgery in the region 24 years ago. The early days were marked by the first bypass surgery in the Republic of North Macedonia and the first open-heart surgery performed on an awake patient. The clinic’s success and continuous advancement were accompanied by growing interest from patients and the increasing need for greater capacity. After 16 years of operation, we opened the Zan Mitrev Clinical Hospital — built to the highest standards, equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, a fully regulated environment, strictly managed heating and cooling systems, fresh air supply, and maximum comfort. Today, it stands as the most renowned center in the region, offering comprehensive diagnostic procedures in most medical specialties, supported by services in modern surgery, anesthesia, and intensive care.
