Mission & Goals
e-think is a private non-profit research institution advancing research in energy economics at its interface with the environment and human society. e-think contributes to the transition towards sustainable energy systems through cutting-edge technical, economic, policy, and environmental assessments. Our work combines expertise from diverse sectors to perform sophisticated analysis and modelling of low-carbon energy transition pathways. We support evidence-based policymaking through rigorous research on renewable energy systems, energy efficiency, heating and cooling strategies, financial aspects and socio-economic dimensions of energy transformation. e-think aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical implementation, providing municipalities, national governments, and EU institutions with the analytical tools and knowledge necessary to achieve climate neutrality and sustainable energy futures.
