Mission & Goals
YSO Limited is a technology company developing NFThing, a decentralised media and social platform designed to restore Algorithmic Sovereignty and promote democratic control over digital information flows. The organisation’s mission is to empower citizens and communities to design and control their own content feeds through transparent, user-defined algorithms built on open protocols, blockchain infrastructure, and AI. YSO advocates for European leadership in algorithmic transparency, data ownership, and attention equity, aligning with the EU’s values of democracy, fairness, privacy, and human dignity. Through NFThing, YSO seeks to strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty, ensure the integrity of information ecosystems, and redirect economic value from foreign platforms back to European citizens.

YSO Limited intends on engaging with EU initiatives related to digital sovereignty, algorithmic transparency, and platform accountability, including: Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA) — promoting transparency and fairness in online platforms. European Democracy Action Plan (EDAP) — safeguarding democratic processes and countering disinformation. Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) — ensuring trustworthy, human-centric AI governance. European Data Strategy and Data Governance Act — advancing data ownership and interoperability. EU Media Freedom Act — supporting pluralism, independence, and integrity in the digital information space.
