Mission & Goals
Ung Kraft / Youth Power Sweden (Acronym YP SE) has been officially registered as a CSO in 2017. However, they have worked as an informal group for 4 years before the registration. A society with positive social values, healthy lifestyles, gender equality and zero discrimination is their main goal. In order to achieve that goal, they are continuously working with young people from all around Europe. Programs currently implemented by the organisation are directed towards nonformal education of young people (mainly youth women) about entrepreneurship, cultural diversity, inclusion of refugees and migrants, healthy lifestyles and violence prevention. Some of their projects include: Entrepreneurship centres; MasterPeace clubs – creating peace together; Promoting Healthier Lifestyles among Youth. YP SE, among others, has developed a programme of local entrepreneurship empowerment centres and within it are working with youth, minorities and women to increase their employability and mentor the

Main EU legislative proposals or policies targeted: 1. Digital Education Action Plan - Youth Power/Ung Kraft engages with this policy through our extensive use of digital tools in educational programs, aiming to enhance digital literacy and competencies among young Europeans. 2. Youth Employment Initiative - Our initiatives support the integration of young people into the labor market, focusing on entrepreneurship and employability skills, aligning with the goals of the Youth Employment Initiative. 3. European Pillar of Social Rights - We align our programs with principles related to education, training, lifelong learning, gender equality, and equal opportunities to foster an inclusive society. 4. European Agenda for Migration - In our efforts to include refugees and migrants, we target this agenda to enhance their social inclusion and integration into European communities. 5. EU Strategy for Gender Equality - Our work in empowering young women through entrepreneurship and educational programs supports the objectives of the EU Strategy for Gender Equality. These targeted legislative proposals and policies reflect our ongoing commitment to addressing core challenges faced by young people across Europe through innovative and inclusive approaches.
Communication Activities
Communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.) related to the EU policies above: 1. Digital Education Action Plan • Webinars and Workshops: Hosted multiple digital education webinars and interactive workshops aimed at improving digital skills among youth. These events frequently featured discussions on EU digital education policies and their implementation at the grassroots level. • Publications: Released several guides and articles on best practices in digital education, distributed through our online platforms and during EU-focused education forums. 2. Youth Employment Initiative • Campaigns: Launched the “Empower Through Entrepreneurship” campaign, promoting entrepreneurship as a viable path for youth employment, in line with the Youth Employment Initiative. • Conferences: Participated in and organized conferences that gather stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities in youth employment across the EU. 3. European Pillar of Social Rights • Advocacy Meetings: Engaged in advocacy meetings with EU policymakers to discuss enhancements in education and training systems, promoting lifelong learning and equal opportunities as stipulated in the European Pillar of Social Rights. • Educational Series: Developed a series of educational content and presentations that highlight the importance of social rights and gender equality, distributed during EU policy discussion events. 4. European Agenda for Migration • Integration Workshops: Organized workshops that focus on the social inclusion of migrants and refugees, highlighting EU migration policies and their impact on society. • Policy Dialogues: Facilitated dialogues between young migrants and EU officials to provide direct feedback on the challenges and successes of integration policies. 5. EU Strategy for Gender Equality • Empowerment Programs: Conducted several programs specifically designed to empower young women, using the framework of the EU Strategy for Gender Equality to guide discussions and content. • Publications and Media Campaigns: Developed targeted publications and media campaigns that promote gender equality, involving EU policy frameworks and successes in advancing women’s rights in various sectors. These communication activities are integral to our strategy of engaging with EU institutions and contributing to the broader dialogue on policies affecting young people in Europe.
