Mission & Goals
Youro GmbH operates a digital platform for products made in Europe with the objective of strengthening regional value creation and ensuring fair competition conditions for European producers in online trade. The company promotes the visibility of European brands, facilitates their digital integration with consumers, and contributes to a resilient, transparent and sustainable European economy. Our activities include fostering the internal market, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through digital sales solutions, and raising consumer awareness regarding the origin and quality of European production.
EU Legislative Interests
The organisation is mainly interested in EU strategies and legislative initiatives related to: – Promotion of the Single Market and fair competition conditions for SMEs; – Circular economy and sustainable consumption policies; – Digital Single Market, e-commerce and consumer protection regulation; – Trade and customs measures relevant to European manufacturing and online retail; – EU funding programmes, innovation networks and support schemes for start-ups, including participation in relevant consortia and partnerships.
Communication Activities
The organisation engages in communication activities related to EU policy areas through press releases, media outreach, participation in conferences and networking events, and the publication of articles and blog posts on topics such as European manufacturing, circular economy and sustainable consumption. In addition, the company is involved in start-up support programmes and regularly exchanges with stakeholders in relevant EU-funded networks and initiatives.
