Mission & Goals

Yesh Din, meaning, ‘There is Law’ in Hebrew, is an Israeli human rights organization working to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories, and the structural human rights violations inevitably caused by 57 years of military occupation. Yesh Din’s goals are to enhance accountability of Israeli civilians and security forces personnel in the West Bank in compliance with international law; to assist Palestinian men, women, and communities to exercise their rights in the West Bank, to expose and challenge Israeli policies of control over and dispossession of Palestinians from land and resources in the West Bank, and halt Israeli annexation of the West Bank, which has intensified from de facto to de jure annexation at lightning speed before our very eyes.

EU Legislative Interests

Yesh Din seeks to influence debate on the EU - Israel Association Agreement, EC policy towards Israel, the peace process and the two-state solution.
