Mission & Goals
Our organization acts as a technology development zone management company with a special zone status affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Technology in Türkiye. Our company provides support to companies in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, R&D and Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights. Our company, which operates as a Technology Development Zone, coordinates and controls the R&D and innovation projects of companies in the region. In order to increase the R&D and Innovation capacities of companies, it manages national and international collaborations and plays a role in the opening of technology startups in line with the green agreement harmonization program by aligning their goals with the goals of the European Union.
EU Legislative Interests
Yalova Teknopark engages with EU policies related to innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable industry. Our focus includes: - Horizon Europe (Regulation (EU) 2021/695) – Particularly in Digital, Industry & Space and Climate, Energy & Mobility, fostering R&D and innovation. - European Green Deal (COM(2019) 640 final) – Supporting clean industry, sustainable mobility, and circular economy initiatives. - EU Industrial Strategy (COM(2020) 102 final) – Promoting Industry 5.0, SME digitalization, and technology transfer. - Digital Europe Programme (Regulation (EU) 2021/694) – Advancing AI, cybersecurity, and high-performance computing. - Critical Raw Materials Act (COM(2023) 160 final) – Enhancing access to critical raw materials and fostering sustainable mining technologies. - EU SME Strategy (COM(2020) 103 final) – Facilitating digitalization, innovation, and financial access for SMEs. Yalova Teknopark collaborates with EU institutions to integrate its ecosystem into European innovation networks and enhance Türkiye-EU cooperation.
Communication Activities
1-It is aimed to unite the organizations under two themes with the organizations that cooperate in these fields together with the European Union countries and to create a working order for this. 2-It is aimed to develop a policy and professional development skills guide in the fields of Social Innovation and entrepreneurship with incubation centers that will unite with the European Union countries and the European Union Commission from different cultural areas and structures of the countries.
