Mission & Goals
The XR Association (XRA) represents the broad ecosystem of the XR industry including headset manufacturers, technology platforms, component and peripheral companies, internet infrastructure companies, enterprise solution providers, and corporate end-users. XRA's mission is to promote the responsible development and thoughtful advancement of XR to foster positive societal outcomes. XRA facilitates dialogue between public and private industry stakeholders around the world and makes education and training material available to creators and users of the technology. We work to educate partners, governments, researchers, and the public about XR’s potential and impact on public policy. To that end, XRA has an interest in tracking and following upcoming EU legislation and regulatory requirements in order to be better prepare our members for compliance in the EU market, while also contributing to the EU policy debate.

XRA is interested in engaging on the European Commission's strategy for virtual worlds and Web 4.0
Communication Activities
Specifically, XRA will engage with EU policymakers regarding the implementation of the virtual worlds strategy.
