Mission & Goals
WuXi AppTec is a global business-to-business research and development (R&D) and manufacturing service provider that enables over 6,000 customers - researchers, biotech startups, and pharma companies - to accelerate the development of innovative and life-saving medicines to benefit patients globally. We are committed to ensure that promising science turns into real-world solutions for patients with speed, scale, and quality. o We will monitor and contribute to the public policy debate around the following initiatives: EU Biotech Act Life Sciences Strategy Proposal for a regulation laying a framework for strengthening the availability and security of supply of critical medicinal products as well as the availability of, and accessibility of, medicinal products of common interest, and amending Regulation (EU) 2024/795 (Critical Medicines Act) Communication on Building the future with nature: Boosting Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing in the EU Public consultation on future European Innovation Act
