Mission & Goals

WRAP Europe is an "association internationale sans but lucratif" (AISBL). The purpose of international interest of the Association is to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. The Association will achieve its purpose through a range of activities which may include: Identification of clear standards and metrics around the issues of food loss and waste, GHG emissions and water use; carrying out studies across the global chain; creation and sharing of best practice tools; building common initiatives to influence stakeholders at each scale of the global chain; reduce the cost and complexity of reporting tool; collaborating on innovative sustainable solutions and consumer engagement; take educational initiatives; raising awareness and communicate relying on open source tools; lobbying with public authorities in respect of policies and regulatory initiatives, engage in debates on the public forum
