Mission & Goals
WUWM is a global network of organizations dedicated to fresh food and products. With 220 members spanning over 49 countries, WUWM's mission is to lead international efforts to ensure food security and safety while promoting healthy diets in a sustainable, inclusive, and consistent manner. Committed to addressing the challenges of the 21st century, WUWM continually explores ways to advance the industry, focusing on creating a greener agricultural sector and working toward a climate-neutral food supply chain. WUWM serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and providing insights that advocate for better and more accessible food systems. The organization achieves this through a variety of activities, including hosting two to three annual conferences, coordinating regional groups (Americas, Europe, Asia) for regular discussions, and organizing workshops, webinars, reports, and campaigns aimed at promoting the sector and driving the transition to sustainability.
