Mission & Goals
Our mission is to unite and lead the global hospitality industry in delivering Net Positive Hospitality—ensuring that hotels, resorts, and businesses across the sector contribute more to the world than they take. We believe in the power of collective action and industry-wide collaboration to create a future where hospitality serves as a catalyst for sustainable development, environmental restoration, and social progress.

Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (Directive (EU) 2022/2464). Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (proposal). Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (Directive 2010/31/EU and its recast). Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers. Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel and linked travel arrangements. European Commission “Transition Pathway for Tourism”
Communication Activities
Participation in stakeholder meetings, policy discussions and events with EU institutions and policymakers regarding sustainability, tourism and hospitality sector policies. Preparation and sharing of policy briefings, reports and industry perspectives related to the legislative initiatives listed above. Engagement in consultations, conferences and roundtables organised by EU institutions and sector stakeholders.
