Mission & Goals

WindEurope is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind energy in Europe and worldwide. It has more than 600 members including manufacturers with a leading share of the world wind power market, component suppliers, research institutes, national wind and renewables associations, developers, electricity providers, finance and insurance companies and consultants. WindEurope coordinates advocacy, organises high-profile industry events and exhibitions, conducts analysis and coordinates EU-funded Research projects to support the sustainable growth of the European wind industry. WindEurope coordinates studies and manages campaigns to raise awareness about the benefits of wind energy, dispelling myths based on robust data and analysis. WindEurope organises numerous policy and technology events: conferences, seminars and workshops. These encourage the exchange of international experience on policy, finance and technical developments.
