Mission & Goals
The organization “WET – Wildwasser erhalten Tirol” (Protect Tyrol’s Whitewater) is dedicated to safeguarding the rivers of Tyrol. With the pressing challenges of the climate crisis and threats to biodiversity, preserving the vitality of our rivers is paramount. Now, more than ever, they need our protection.

We are currently not a member of any association. By December 2025 we have requested to become a member of Ökobüro Austria (https://www.oekobuero.at/en/about/). This request is not accepted yet, but we are expecting to become a member here in the near future (spring 2026). We are part of the network "Protect Alpine Nature", this comes with no obligation or membership fee.
