Mission & Goals
Whitehouse Communications is an independent issues-led political communications agency. We deliver integrated communications services across public affairs, policy analysis, media relations and crisis communications. We work across sectors including food and nutrition, sustainability, media and creative industries, fintech, energy and the environment, human rights and equality. We provide a bespoke, proactive and outcomes-driven service. With a firm foot on both sides of the Channel and a long track record of shaping national and European policies and regulations in highly technical sectors as well as working with trade associations and their members, we also assist our clients navigating the new relationship between the UK and the EU.
EU Legislative Interests
We are currently actively engaged for clients in work connected with European food law and regulation, public health, environmental regulation, international relations, the Digital Single Market, trade and human rights. Key dossiers of interest are: - Communication on a European Green Deal - Communication on a Farm to Fork Strategy for a fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly food system - Revision of the Food Information to Consumers Regulation - EU Safe Hearts Plan - Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 on food intended for infants and young children, food for special medical purposes, and total diet replacement for weight control - Setting Maximum Permitted Levels under Directive 2002/46 and Regulation 1925/2006 - Regulation on Deforestation - Revision of the Alternative Infrastructure Managers Directive. - Revision of the European Long Term Investment Fund Regulation - European Electronic Communications Code Directive - Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence - Digital Services Act & Digital Market Act - EU secure space-based connectivity system
