Mission & Goals

Waterise’s mission is to improve people’s quality of life by providing sustainable fresh water to communities in need. We have operations internationally and our technology uses subsea technology coupled with membrane desalination to provide safe and clean access to fresh water in areas with high water-stress around the world. Desalination of water removes salt from seawater and is the fastest growing source of fresh water, which is vital for industry, agriculture and energy production. Waterise’s systems and technology provide water in a sustainable way. Our CO2 footprint is lower by 40 % thanks to lower energy requirements and savings on use of chemicals for the pre-treatment and disposal of organic material. We seek to raise awareness among EU regulatory and political audiences of the issues of desalination, water shortage and drought issues that Europe in particular faces and how using modern and non-intensive energy technologies can help address these challenges.
