Mission & Goals
WaterAid's vision is a world where everyone everywhere has safe water, sanitation and hygiene. WaterAid is an international organisation whose mission is to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. Everything we do is shaped by our six values: Respect Accountability Courage Collaboration Innovation Integrity What we do WaterAid enables the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water and sanitation. Together with improved hygiene, these basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods, forming the first essential step in overcoming poverty. Organisation Members
The WaterAid Federation has members in the UK, Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Sweden, The Netherlands and the United States. See http://www.wateraid.org/who-we-are/how-we-are-governed for more details WaterAid has an EU representative and a EU Advocacy officer, based in Brussels, but there is not a WaterAid Brussels office. WaterAid also has a Germany representative, based in Germany, but there is not a WaterAid Germany office.
Additional Information
The EU funding that WaterAid UK has received is for programme work for service delivery. WaterAid hasn't received any funding from the EU for advocacy work or for direct operating costs.
