EU Legislative Interests

Our organization primarily engages with EU legislative proposals and policies that directly impact forest conservation and community empowerment. In particular, we focus on the EU Forest Strategy for 2030, which aims to protect forests and promote sustainable management; the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, which includes targets for ecosystem restoration and species protection; the Regulation on Deforestation-Free Supply Chains, designed to prevent commodities linked to deforestation from entering the EU market; the EU Green Deal, specifically measures affecting land use and forestry; and the Farm to Fork Strategy, which encourages sustainable land management practices that support local communities

Communication Activities

Our organization has not yet conducted formal outreach with EU institutions on the legislative files listed above. However, we are actively preparing to engage through future activities such as policy briefings, stakeholder consultations, and participation in public hearings, with the aim of representing the interests of forest conservation and local communities
