Mission & Goals
Goal is to actively shape and advance Slovak foreign and European policy, fostering an environment that upholds stability, democracy & prosperity. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the EU values, including the rule of law, democratic principles, transparency, and good governance, while contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and democratic EU and fostering constructive democratic dialogue. In accordance with statute, RC SFPA: a) provides independent expert analyses on crucial issues of international relations, foreign and European policy; b) publishes expert publications, c) organizes expert events and participates in international scientific cooperation, d) contributes to the fostering of the expert discourse, e) creates a favorable environment for the growth of the new generation and f) stimulates the interest of wider Slovak public in global events & deeper understanding of the significance of foreign/European policy and its link to domestic policy.

Communication Activities
RC SFPA carries out communication and outreach activities related to EU foreign policy, European integration, democracy, resilience, climate and energy policy, enlargement and neighbourhood policy, and broader EU governance issues. These activities include: - organisation of international expert conferences, roundtables, policy dialogues and public discussions; - publication of policy papers, analytical studies, commentaries and expert recommendations; - stakeholder consultations and dissemination activities within EU-funded and international projects; - participation in expert discussions, consultations and conferences involving representatives of EU institutions, Member States, academia and civil society; - cooperation with European think tanks, research institutions and policy networks; - communication and awareness-raising activities related to EU policies and strategic priorities. RC SFPA regularly engages with representatives of EU institutions and bodies, including the European Commission, European Parliament, European External Action Service and EU agencies, primarily through expert consultations, conferences, project cooperation, policy discussions and dissemination activities connected to European policy developments and EU-funded initiatives.

RC SFPA is not a member of any organization, association (con)federations, networks and other bodies, RC SFPA cooperates with and participates in various international expert, academic and policy networks, including partnerships with European think tanks, research institutions, universities, civil society organisations and policy platforms connected to foreign policy, European affairs, democracy, resilience, climate and energy policy, and regional cooperation. The organisation also participates in international consortia and EU-funded projects.
