Legislative proposals and polices relating to energy, climate change and financial services including Methane emission Regulation, Renewable Energy Directive and related implementation, Electricity Market Design, Decarbonisation Package, Energy Tax Directive, ETS Directive, CBAM and in general all legislative proposals relating to energy markets.

Communication Activities

Vitol seeks to engage through trade association involvement and government relations specialist and direct contact with EU bodies where appropriate. The range of communication activities include providing written responses to consultations, contributing to policy and position papers and face to face meetings with representatives from DG FISMA, DG MOVE, DG CLIMA, DG ENER.
