VIB is an independent, entrepreneurial research institute in life sciences. The mission of VIB is to make a positive impact on society through scientific progress and real-world applications.
EU Legislative Interests
As a life science research institute, we would like to have a voice in the calls within Horizon Europe. In addition, we would also like to have a voice in the shaping of the successor of Horizon Europe. The Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation of the European Commission are important for VIB as institute. - Horizon Europe framework programme for research and innovation 2021-2027 - Legislation for plants produced by certain new genomic techniques - Proposal for a REGULATION on the European Health Data Space
