Mission & Goals
Our Company, VIANEX S.A. (“VIANEX”), is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Greece. Through its 100-year history, VIANEX has formed strategic partnerships and alliances with the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. VIANEX owns four (4) state-of-the-art specialized manufacturing plants throughout Greece and develops, produces, markets and distributes a large number of pharmaceutical products in approximately 114 countries worldwide, covering various therapeutical areas. Over the past years, VIANEX has significantly invested in new technologies and equipment to optimize its manufacturing processes and improve the overall production of medicines. VIANEX is also a member of the European Confederation of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs (EUCOPE) and as such is an active stakeholder and advocate at European level.
EU Legislative Interests
VIANEX is monitoring EU developments and initiatives that have an impact on the pharmaceutical industry, with specific focus on: (i) the Reform of the EU pharmaceutical legislation, (ii) the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Regulation, and (iii) medicines shortages. VIANEX is also interested in the scope of work of the European Commission's Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (HERA).
Communication Activities
VIANEX participates in discussions and workshops organized by the European Confederation of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs (EUCOPE) and the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE), member of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries & Associations (EFPIA), regarding EU policy and legislative developments that affect the pharmaceutical sector.
