Mission & Goals
The association's efforts focused on raising awareness about addiction, as well as disseminating information regarding its causes and prevention. With the aim of preventing addiction, we support people in acquiring and maintaining skills and abilities that protect from addiction. We offer a range of programs and activities that aim to empower youth to make informed decisions and lead fulfilling lives. Our addiction prevention programs include addiction counseling, educational seminars, workshops and peer awareness activities. Another goal is general psychological support, such as for the spouse, parents and children. Our team consists of volunteer members such as clinical psychologists, educators and life and social counselors. Furthermore, through our collaborative efforts with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we aim to create a sustainable approach in addiction prevention.
EU Legislative Interests
Addiction prevention, public health and youth development are main policy areas that we focus on. Our organization is committed to investing in young people and believes that preventing addiction among youth is critical for building a healthy and thriving community. And also we offer diverse training and seminar programs for people of all ages, including addiction prevention, advocacy training, and youth seminars.
Communication Activities
At first, as a non-governmental organization dedicated to combating drug, alcohol, gambling, substance and technology addictions, we have qualified personnel to iplement counselling services and organizing awareness events. Also, we organize regular events in public places to rise awareness about addiction. We conducted “Addiction Awareness Trainings” for Turkish families living in Vienna in cooperation with the Austrian Turkish Islamic Cultural and Social Solidarity Union and Austrian Culture, Education and Integration Association. In 2024, an information sharing meeting was held for the international expansion of Addiction Counselling Services, to learn about addiction situations and intervention services. In addition to these, life skills training and peer education programs are among our field areas. Equipping young people with skills like decision-making, communication, and stress management can help them resist harmful habits.
