Mission & Goals
Het VBO is de enige interprofessionele werkgeversorganisatie die ondernemingen uit de drie gewesten van ons land vertegenwoordigt. De leden zijn actief in de belangrijkste industrie- en dienstensectoren. Het VBO heeft de ambitie om: 1. te werken aan een optimaal ondernemingsklimaat; 2. de belangen van bedrijven te verdedigen op federaal, Europees en internationaal niveau; 3. te zorgen voor samenhang in de boodschap en acties van ondernemers. Daarnaast wil het VBO mee vormgeven aan de beroepen van de toekomst, vooral in de diensten-, industrie- en bouwsector. Het houdt de vinger aan de pols van wat er buiten de organisatie leeft en organiseert tal van ontmoetingen en infosessies met een federale, Europese (zoals de European Business Summit) of internationale dimensie. De werking van het VBO bestrijkt alle domeinen die verband houden met bedrijfsactiviteiten. Concreet is het actief op economisch, sociaal, juridisch vlak.

Alle domeinen die een impact kunnen hebben op de werkzaamheden van de Belgische ondernemingen. Toutes les matières susceptibles d’avoir un impact sur les activités des entreprises belges.
Communication Activities
Jaarlijkse ontmoeting tussen VBO en Belgische Europarlementsleden, thematische briefings, one-to-one contacten. Rencontre annuelle 'FEB-Eurodéputés belge, Briefings thématique, des rencontres one-to-one.
