Mission & Goals
Verband Österreichischer Tierschutzorganisationen — pro-tier is an association of animal shelters, animal welfare and animal rights organizations throughout Austria with the aim of giving animal welfare a strong voice in Austria. Exchange of experiences and joint initiatives strengthen our animal welfare concerns. A joint appearance towards public authorities and the legislature helps to give animal welfare more attention.
