Mission Statement: please refer to https://www.vbio.de/leitbild (german only) Structure: VBIO is the umbrella organization of learned societies and individual members from the field of Life Sciences in Germany. Activities: • VBIO issues position statements on issues relevant to science ad socity. • VBIO offers space for open dialogue and critical discourse. • VBIO is committed to improving the framework conditions for the work of all those active in the life sciences. • VBIO advises pupils, students and trainees in questions of study orientation and career choice. Structure: VBIO is the umbrella organization of learned societies and individual members from the field of Life Sciences in Germany. The learned societies in VBIO represent the spectrum of the life sciences. They promote scientific progress and young scientists in their fields.
