Mission & Goals
Vantage Towers is one of Europe's leading tower companies with currently around 88,000 towers across ten countries. The company is headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. It was established in 2020 as an independent subsidiary of Vodafone through a corporate spin-off of its radio tower division. The portfolio includes towers, masts, rooftop sites, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Small Cells. By expanding infrastructure and efficient, high quality connectivity, Vantage Towers is accelerating the sustainable digitisation of Europe’s communities by connecting people, businesses, and internet-enabled devices. The infrastructure sharing model pursued by the company lowers investment requirements for network roll-out, it fosters competition and has a positive impact on sustainability.
EU Legislative Interests
Vantage Towers particularly follows the Digital Networks Act, the implementation of the Gigabit Infrastructure Act including its Guidelines, the Cybersecurity Act 2, the review of the merger Guidelines and all telecom/digital policies which are relevant to Tower Companies, including in the Energy space with the Energy Grids Package. Vantage Towers also follows relevant EU funding policies.
