EU Legislative Interests
VanEck is looking to harmonize the distribution of ETFs for member states (specificly the inducement ban). Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFiD II)
Communication Activities
VanEck was invited to a working session is being set up to exchange with the European Commissioner for Financial Services the unique characteristics of the Dutch financial market ecosystem. What will be discussed are the business models of the various parts of this ecosystem, the factors behind their success in the Dutch market and in an European context as well as a business perspective on relevant trends for the future.
