Mission & Goals
Vaasa Sähkö Oy has a long history, dating back to 1892. We are one of the first electricity companies in Finland. Over the years, Vaasan Sähkö has developed into a strong energy group. We are located in Vaasa, in the heart of the most important energy hub in the Nordic region. However, we sell electricity to all corners of the country and our customers are spread widely across Finland. Vaasan Sähkö Group employs around 150 people. For us, energy is more than just business. It is a fascinating object of study, a partner and a source of inspiration. Our focus is on electricity production and supply, district heating and electricity distribution. Vaasan Sähkö sells electricity throughout mainland Finland and district heat to homes in Vaasa. Our subsidiary Vaasan Sähköverkko Oy is responsible for electricity distribution in the Vaasa region.
